Law students and attorneys interested in volunteering may contribute to projects involving nonprofit operations, ethics, policy, community resources, research oversight, and related legal initiatives.

Become an Outreach Specialist
Help distribute essential supplies, connect people with resources, and learn practical community-health skills.
Community Outreach
Volunteers may distribute food, clothing, and hygiene supplies while helping people locate healthcare, insurance, housing, transportation, and other services.
Health-assessment and basic first-aid skills are taught by an EMT. Suicide assessment and supportive communication skills are taught by an experienced suicide hotline counselor.

Volunteer Attire Requirements
Volunteers participating in in-person outreach missions are expected to maintain a clean, professional appearance while representing Valliant Foundation in the community.
During your first three outreach missions, please wear clean scrubs or business-casual attire.
Volunteers who continue participating after their first three outreach missions are required to purchase and wear an official Valliant Foundation volunteer shirt for subsequent in-person outreach missions.
Official volunteer shirts are produced and shipped directly through our merchandise partner. Valliant Foundation does not maintain individual shirt inventory.
